Located in the inner city of Brisbane, Ismail's Discount Halal Meat is a to-go place if you want to search 100% genuine halal meat at affordable places. The butchery is located inside the McWhirters building, Fortitude Valley, and it is open every day (7:30 am-5:00 pm on weekdays and 7:30 am-4:00 pm on weekends). The shop offers a great range of meat products, such as beef, chicken, lamb, goat, etc. However, they don't sell any pork product since it is a halal meat shop.  Besides fresh meat, they also have various kinds of processed meat like sausage, nuggets, mince pies, etc. I personally really like to buy beef salami here, one of the hard to find items on most of the regular butcher in the Brisbane area.

In terms of experience, the staff are always friendly and they always try to accommodate a specific request from their costumer. I've asked them to cut beef steak in a certain way. They also have meat cutting places inside the store, so the customer can see the staff cut up their meat stock product.
